Coastal Measures was awarded a $25k grant from the Main Technology Institute and $25k from the Northeastern Regional Aquaculture Center for a project titled, "Real-time data analytics to support oyster farm management and crop yield optimization." This project will develop a real-time dashboard to mariculturist to view farm conditions and forecasted farm health.
Drifters Away
The University of New Hampshire has recently deployed 7 DB-X from Seaport Systems, and used CUMULUs realtime monitoring to track the drifters and download data.
Blue w(AI)ve Accelerator
Coastal Measures completed the Blue w(AI)ve accelerator based out of Portland Maine in Spring, 2024. The accelerator program was run by a partnership between the Gulf of Maine Researcher Institute and Northeastern University's Roux Institute for AI. Through the program, Coastal Measures was provided a $25k grant to enhance the AI of their water level forecasts, worked with scientists to address ongoing data problems, and expanded its community of investors and interested parties.
